     Self study examination of higher education is a national examination system established in the early 1980s. It is a combination of individual self-study, social assistance and national examination. It is an important part of China's higher education system.

     The task of higher education self-study examination is to promote a wide range of individual self-study and social assistance activities through national examination, promote on-the-job professional education and Post University Continuing Education, cultivate and select professional talents with both political integrity and ability, and improve the ideological and moral, scientific and cultural quality of the whole nation, so as to meet the needs of socialist modernization.
     The academic level of the self-study examination of higher education is consistent with the academic standard of the corresponding academic level of the national higher education.
     The self-study examination shall be managed and implemented by an authoritative examination institution authorized by the state. Under the leadership of governments at all levels and administrative departments of education, there is a well-organized and coordinated management and work system from the state to the local level, and there is a set of scientific and rigorous examination methods. It can ensure the authority, seriousness and scientificity of the national examination, effectively promote and guide a wide range of individual self-study and social assistance, and strictly test the examinees' knowledge level and ability level. Self taught examination has huge capacity and covers the whole country.
     Compared with other forms of education, self-taught examination has the distinct characteristics of high openness, flexibility, strong adaptability, less investment, high efficiency and less work study contradiction. Self taught examinees are not limited by gender, age, nationality, race and education level, and can sign up for the examination; enrollment is not limited by the number of students and the number of years of study, and examinees do not need to pass the entrance examination; the credit accumulation system is adopted in the examination, and examinees complete all the courses (including practical links) specified in the professional examination plan, and pass the examination to obtain qualified results According to the evaluation of the students' Ideological and moral character, they can obtain the corresponding level of graduation certificate issued by the provincial examination commission, which is recognized by the state; the examination arrangement is flexible, and the candidates can flexibly choose the number of courses to apply for according to their own actual situation, and independently arrange the study time and study methods. Introduction of  Unified Entrance Examination of Adult Colleges

     The unified entrance examination for adult colleges and universities, referred to as the adult college entrance examination, is an entrance examination for China's Adult Colleges and universities to select qualified graduates to enter a higher level of academic education. It belongs to the national education series and is included in the national enrollment plan. It takes part in the national unified entrance examination and is accepted by all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government. At the beginning, it was set up to solve the problem of academic education and continuing education of on-the-job personnel. Most of the participants are adults, which is an important part of national higher education.

   Adult higher diploma education, general higher education and higher education self-study examination are collectively referred to as the National Education Series Higher Diploma Education approved by the Ministry of education. Adult college entrance examination is divided into three levels: from junior college to undergraduate, from senior high school to junior college and from senior high school to undergraduate. Adult college entrance examination diploma is recognized by the state, and adult college entrance examination diploma is recognized by the state. Postgraduate entrance examination, civil service examination, studying abroad and professional title evaluation are all acceptable.

    From secondary specialized school to junior high school: graduates from secondary specialized school, vocational high school and senior high school or those with the same educational background are recruited.

     Upgrading from junior college to undergraduate: recruit all kinds of social personnel who have obtained or will obtain junior college degree of national education series.
Introduction of Network Education

     Network education refers to a specific educational organization, which collects, designs, develops and utilizes various educational resources and constructs an educational environment by comprehensively applying the technology of a certain social period, and provides educational services for students based on the technology, educational resources and educational environment of a certain social period, as well as organizes some collective meetings for students for the purpose of teaching and socialization Activities (in the traditional face-to-face or modern electronic way) to help and promote students' distance learning for the purpose of all activities.
